Japanese Sagamihara and Shinagawa visited Japan to participate in the sixth round of the KXO League, where tickets for international competitions are up for grabs. The two teams competed fiercely with Korean 3×3 teams including Yesan Hanul Construction, Seoul Cosmo, Hongcheon, Busan Clean Shot and Hamo Jinju for two days.
On the morning of the 29th, on the first day of the competition, Choi Jae-gu, National Assemblyman Kang Seung-gyu, Chairman of the Yesan-gun Sports Council Choi Kwang-sun, Director of the Yesan-gun Administrative and Welfare Bureau Chung Un-kyo, President of Yesan-gun Basketball Association Lee Dae-woong, Chairman of KXO Kwon Ki-bok, and Vice Chairman of KXO Park Geon-yeon visited the stadium to encourage the participants with generous souvenirs.
In the U15 division, RKDR2, who visited the budget from Changwon far away to participate in the tournament, won the championship with Song Ji-ho’s one-man show, while in the U18 division, FBP, where Kim Min-chul burst a buzzer beater, took the top.
In the men’s Open, which is as exciting as a professional game, Stuff Bisons, who first took the KXO court through the KXO budget tour, enjoyed his first victory with Kim Han-sung’s 15-point performance.
In the sixth round of the KXO League, where the Korea-Japan match was held due to the participation of Japanese players, Yesan Hanul Construction, who missed the final due to a calf injury in the semifinals, fought hard against Sagamihara, Japan, but failed to overcome the numerical inferiority and gave up the championship unfortunately. Sagamihara, who won its first participation in the KXO League, won the FIBA 3×3 Kaohsiung Challenger 2024 ticket to be held in Taiwan in September.
