“The state government is creating a better environment for young people in the state to stand out at national and international levels,” he added.
According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, India is a leader in all areas, Dhami said. “Players like Rishabh Pant will inspire everyone by doing something that inspires them. There will be a good environment for sports in the state,” he added.
Cricketer Rishabh Pant expressed his appreciation for the minister, who was honoured as Uttarakhand Brand Ambassador. He said, “Pushkar Singh Dami has given us the opportunity to do something for our country. The state government is trying to provide a better sports environment for young people,” he added.
Although he gained prominence in the Indian Premier League Delhi Capitals (formerly known as the Delhi Daredevils) for his outstanding performance in the T20 format, his test record has received many accolades.
In 31 tests, he averaged 43.32 points, scoring 2,123. His personal best score is 159* in this format. Pant scored 1050 points in the 5th century.
In 27 ODIs, Pant scored 840 points with an average of 36.52 points in 27 games. His personal best score is 125. Pant scored in this format for a century and a half.
Pant also played in 54 T20I matches, scoring 883 points with an average of 23.86. His best score is 65*, and he has scored three half-century goals.
