Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers took advantage of his chances and led his team to victory. He was pleased with his own batting performance.

“I wanted to create a good flow somehow. It was a good at-bat,” he said of his eighth-inning single, adding, ”There are good times and bad times that break the flow. Right now, it’s a good flow. We have to keep going. One game at a time is important,” he said.
