Silverton Casino Announces Return of Chef Ashley Archer, Head of Cooking Operations

Silverton Casino Hotel is pleased to announce the return of Chef Ashley Archer as head of culinary operations. With a broad background in food service and a passion for culinary excellence, Archer brings a new perspective and dynamic leadership to the Silverton team.

In his new role, Archer will oversee all aspects of cooking development, menu development, and kitchen operations. His proven track record of enhancing the dining experience and his dedication to pushing the boundaries between taste and presentation perfectly aligns with Silverton Casino Lodge’s mission to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to precious guests.

Silverton Casino recently celebrated its “Renaissance” year as it completed a $40 million hotel product renovation. Upgrades are also underway for the exterior, pool deck and casino.

Archer’s culinary journey includes extensive kitchen experience focusing on solid culinary foundations, quality ingredients, and focus on detail. This includes six years as executive chef at Silverton Casino. Most recently, he served as director of culinary operations at Foxwoods Hotel Resort in Connecticut.

As director of culinary operations, Archer will work closely with award-winning room chefs at each restaurant venue to bring his own unique perspective to shape the cooking direction of Silverton Casino.

For 2023, Las Vegas Weekly named the Twin Creek Steakhouse as Las Vegas’ “Best Steakhouse.” Silverton’s restaurant locations also won several awards in the Review-Journal’s “Best Las Vegas” award, including the best Mexican restaurant in Mi Casa Grill Cantina, the best sushi at Su Casa Sushi bar, and the best Chinese for Wu Hu Noodle.
