The Palms Casino Resort Shines brighter than ever under new ownership

Many trips to the desert over the past decade have revolved around Poker’s coverage of the World Series. From 2005 to 2021, the most prestigious tournament in poker took place at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino before moving to Streep in 2022. The sweltering summer we spent recording the WSOP was grateful for its proximity to the Palms Casino Resort, located just across from the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino on West Flamingo Road. 바카라

The 31.5-acre luxury property has consistently exuded a trendy and vibrant atmosphere, in stark contrast to old and less modern Rio. Over the past few years, Farms has changed hands several times, and it was disappointing for me and many other fans of the resort when Red Rock Resort, which bought the property in 2016 for $321.5 million, decided not to reopen after the pandemic.

However, hope has arrived in the form of Mission Indians’ San Manuel Band and San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, which are famous for the Yamaba Resort & Casino in San Manuel, California. In May 2021, they signed a deal to acquire the resort for a reported $650 million. After extensive recovery efforts, the tribe unveiled new and improved Palms as the first Native American-owned casino in Las Vegas, opening the following April.

Last fall, returning to the long-awaited Palms, I found myself having to schedule another stay to fully tour the newly introduced amenities. That opportunity appeared when I ventured out to Las Vegas for the WSP main event final table in the summer.

As is usually the case with my visits to the casino, there was more to experience than just table games or sports betting or slots. Farms is a type of vacation spot where you can enjoy your time without risking a penny of the money you receive because the non-game items are so exceptional.
