Wimbledon announces record £44.7m prize

The 2021 winner’s prize money was reduced to £1.7 million before it was adjusted to £2 million last year. The women’s and men’s singles champions and runners-up will receive £2.35 million and £1.75 million, respectively, and the prize money for these two rounds will rise to 2019 levels.
