The World Poker Tour has confirmed the first half of season XXII, offering an eclectic combination of seven WPT Prime and four WPT Main Tour festivals around the world from late January to early June.

Season’s Start The main tour, with festivals running from Jan. 17-30 and championship events running from Jan. 25-29, is WPT Cambodia at Naga World in Phnom Penh. The second of the main tour is the return of the WPT Rolling Thunder at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Northern California, which has a festive date from March 7-26, and a $3,500 championship event starting March 23.
Two main tour festivals take place in succession in April and May. First, the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Festival will be held from April 3 to 23. Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, which drew 2,290 entries at this year’s $3,500 Championship event, now accounts for nine of the 10 largest categories in WPT history.
The first half of the main tour calendar is WPT Choto. The Oklahoma stop returns for its ninth round and features a $3,800 championship event during the festive schedule from April 17 to May 6.
The Prime Tour will start with WPT Prime X-en-Provence, followed by the WPT Prime Amsterdam Festival from March 15 to 23, starting with the festival day from January 26 to February 5.
In late March, the first-ever WPT Voyage will step down. Virgin Voyages’ 1,400-room Valiant Lady will sail from Miami on March 31 and return to port on April 6. Prime and main tour titles will be awarded during the flagship event.
There’s another pair of prime stops in April. Card Casino Bratislava hosts WPT Prime Slovakia for the second time, hosting the festival from April 5-15. WPT Prime Gold Coast will then return from Star Gold Coast for the third consecutive year from April 10-23, with regulatory approval.
Also returning for the third year in a row is WPT Prime Vietnam. There will be a festival at the Crown Poker Club in Hanoi from May 14-27. The schedule for the first half of WPT Prime Sanremo Season 22 will be finalized from May 31 to June 10 at Kasin o di Sanremo.
