First baseman Harper became the first Philadelphia player to win the most votes in NL in 31 years since John Crook in 1993. He will play his eighth All-Star game in his career.

This year, Harper played in 76 games and hit .303 with 20 home runs and 58 RBIs with an OPS of 0.981, leading Philadelphia to the East Division lead.

Except for Judge and Harper, the list of all-stars will be decided after the second round of voting for the top two players (six outfielders) in each position. The final list of players to participate in the All-Star Game will be announced on March 4.

Meanwhile, this year’s All-Star Game will be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home to the Texas Rangers on the 17th of next month.
