Hanyang University defeated Sungkyunkwan University 66-59 in the 2024 KUSF University Basketball U-League regular league held at Sungkyunkwan University’s natural science campus gym on Sunday. With the victory, Hanyang University achieved a 50 percent win rate for the fifth time (five losses) in this season.
Shin Ji-won of Hanyang University became the highest scorer with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Park Sung-jae (12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals) and Park Min-jae (10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists) also scored double-digit points.
On the other hand, Sungkyunkwan University’s Kang Sung-wook (14 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals), Lee Kun-young (13 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 3-point shot), and Ku Min-kyo (12 points, 5 blocks, 3 rebounds) fought hard, but they took the loss as they left a regret for their last-minute concentration.
