The LG Twins rode a strong start from returning starter Im Chan-kyu and firepower from the center field lineup to win the first game of the doubleheader.
The LG Twins won the first game of a doubleheader against the KT Wiz of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League 7-2 on Wednesday at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, the 11th game of the season.
LG escaped a 21-game losing streak and improved to 42 wins, 2 draws, and 33 losses on the season. KT, meanwhile, saw its three-game winning streak snapped, falling to 31 wins, one draw and 43 losses.
