“Unnamed → going to school → fostering KT → releasing → joining SSG” left-hander bullpen’s resolution, “The results will come out as much as we have tried.”

Handusol (SSG Landers) is sweating profusely ahead of this season. He pitched against the NC Dinos on April 16, 2023, allowing one hit, two walks, two strikeouts and one run in an inning, and has not taken the mound in the first division since then. He is making efforts to rebound this season.

He performed well in the Futures League last season. He pitched in 40 games with three wins, four losses, eight holds, four saves and 46 ⅓ innings, with 31 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.72. Ahead of this season, Handusol is training at SSG Landers Field in Incheon to improve his physical fitness. “I focus on weight, agility and mobility, and I play catch after workouts,” he said. 안전놀이터 추천

After graduating from Gwangju Jeil High School, Han Du-sol participated in the 2015 KBO Rookie Draft, but failed to enter the professional stage as he was not nominated. Afterwards, he went to Oshai Riseisha Technical University in Japan and joined the KT Wiz as an nurturing player in 2018. However, his performance in the second division was not good, and he was released due to bad news of his injury. After completing his military service, he joined the SSG in June 2021 and settled down anew.

This is the fourth season of the SSG. “It’s been important every year, but I think this year is important. I’m also increasing my exercise. I’m trying to highlight what I need,” Handusol said. “I think when I can throw breaking balls, I should throw them firmly and throw my own ball the same way, whether it’s important or not. I also pay a lot of attention to that and play catch ball.”

“I had one chance for the first team, but it was a shame that I couldn’t take that opportunity well and came down,” Handusol said of his disappointment last season. “Because the second team and the first team are different, I haven’t been able to adapt to the first team. I think I have to adapt as I play in the first team this year.”

“What I liked in the second division last year was my ball control and breaking ball control. I think it helped me improve my performance. What I was disappointed about in the first division was that I couldn’t perform well because of the pressure to catch him no matter what when I took the mound,” he said.

Handusol has unique experience of going to a junior college in Japan. Regarding his choice to go to Japan, he said, “I was not nominated (in the draft), and I thought it would be nice to go to a Korean university, but I wanted to learn in Japan, so I went to Japan. I have no regrets. I have learned a lot about baseball skills.”

Confessing that this season is the most important, Han is preparing for the new season with a new mindset. “One of the things that I changed my mind a lot is that I am confident that the result will come out as much as I tried. Now, I think I have achieved good results while exercising as I thought I could be paid for my hard work,” Han said. “The first goal is to enter the opening entry. I just want to continue playing in the first team.”
