On the 25th, the Tigers Legend Meeting held its 20th anniversary event at the Chinese restaurant of the Ramada Renaissance Hotel in Seo-gu, Gwangju. About 50 Tigers’ legions gathered, including former V9 manager Kim Yong-yong and national treasure pitcher Sun Dong-yeol, former manager Kim Sung-han, Yang Seung-ho (former Lotte Giants manager), Lee Soon-cheol (SBS commentator), Lee Dae-jin (former Hanwha second-tier manager), and former KBO president Lee Sang-guk.

The Tigers’ mutual aid association was created in 2003 by players from Haitai Tigers. It was a gathering to remember the glory of the Tigers, who dominated Korean professional baseball in the 1980s and 1990s, and support the eternal Tigers. Every year at the end of the season, he has consistently held meetings and celebrated his 20th anniversary this year.

KIA manager Kim Jong-kook couldn’t attend because he was leading the Okinawa closing camp, but he was happy with his support. Coach Kim Yong-yong, who made the players tremble during his active career, also had a good time hanging out with his students.
